This weekend I prepared for Antarctica by getting up at 4:30 in the morning and going and sitting on a cold NYC sidewalk from 5-7am to test my preparedness. Result - I am a wimp. I survived thanks to a hot cup of Dunkin Donuts liquid sugar. This has made me reconsider a few things to add to my packing list: Japanese hand warmers, dramamine - I've heard the seasickness can be brutal (Check out this video if you don't believe me) and my secret to surviving marathons, museums and metros...music.

This is where I am looking for some inspiration from all you avid FindingPenguin fans - what music would you include on a soundtrack for Antarctica? So far I have Sigur Ros

Sigur Ros because they are from Iceland and that is a cold place and their music is similar to what I imagine being played in my head when exploring the wintry landscape. Modest Mouse because well Antarctica is in the title. I am open to all genres!
